The first six bodies or planets in our geocentric scheme(not counting the Earth) have ruling
signs that are opposite the last six bodies or planets as follows..
six corresponding outermost planets A lunar body between the Earth and Moon and with an orbit of about 12 days would correspond nicely as the opposite of Jupiter on a day-for-a-year scale. Such a satelite, one quarter the size of our Moon, and about 100,000 miles from the Earth is said to have once existed in Atlantean times, before being destroyed in a war. Our Moon is a good complement of Saturn, both in terms of sign opposition, and on a day-for-a-year basis. The Sun may not be the exact center of our solar system. It may in fact orbit around a smaller or inner center, the duration of which is unknown. The Sun(Leo) and Uranus(Aquarius) do of course complement each other in terms of sign rulership. The greatest variation in terms of the day-for-a-year formula is between Mercury/Neptune, or the rulers of Virgo and Pisces respectively. Mercury's orbit, in fact, seems a closer match to Uranus, but the two are not complementary in terms of sign rulership. Venus and Pluto are a close match in terms of the day-for-a-year scheme, and are of course opposites or complements(Taurus and Scorpio) on the wheel of the zodiac in terms of sign rulership. Mars and newly discovered Eris are also fair matches in the day-for-a-year scheme, and this lends credence to Eris' rulership of Libra, since Mars rules Aries. Apparently their are some mismatches and discrepancies to this scheme indicating a cosmic system that is presently out of kilter, probably caused by some planetary catastrophe, and is in dire need of remedy. Each of us reflects this imbalance on a personal level, through our limitations or imperfections, a condition which also needs to be remedied, for the planets are the chakras or enegry centers of our creator God, after which we ourselves are patterned. back to main |
