Astrology and the 64 Codes of Life

You can add a whole other dimension to astrology by overlaying the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching over the zodiac wheel. Each hexagram is a gene code related to a certain part of the body. Planets, transiting or natal, activate these codes, as is shown in the example chart below.

The 64 hexagrams or codes of life, developed by the first mythical Chinese emperor Fu-hsi, represent 64 transformative principles aimed at achieving human excellence or perfection. Each hexagram (hexa means six) and its order encapsulates a principal or set of ideas and is much like a segment or piece of a DNA strand. The solid lines in the hexagram are called Yang(positive or masculine) and the broken lines are Yin(negative or feminine).
The 64 hexagrams derived from the basic 8 trigrams which when combined (8x8) produce the 64. Fu-hsi or Fu Xi discovered the 8 trigrams on the back of a turtle shell. The eight trigrams or elements are: Heaven opposed by Earth, Fire opposed by Water, Thunder opposed by Wind, and Lake opposed by Mountain.

The 64 can be arranged as a circle or as a square or both, each providing different information. The art of decoding the hexagrams both individually and in patterns is what I Ching is all about. Natal or transiting planets activate the hexagrams. Transiting Pluto, for example, is of this writing at 1 degree Aquarius which is gene code 60 (see diagrams). Therefore, Pluto's revolutionary power will focus, at this time, on ways to bring about Justice, Realism, and Limitation.
Also, gene code 60 is located in the root chakra(see 1st diagram) indicating that Pluto is stirring up energies that go to to the root of our beings(fear, survival, groundedness, etc.). We need to get back to nature and become self-reliant or self-sufficient again. Pluto is helping us with this during its transit from 26Capricorn22 to 2Aquarius00 or (2021-2025 AD). Pluto enters gene code 41 or 2Aqu00 to 7Aqu37 (2025-2028 AD) and gene code 19 or 7Aqu37 to 13Aqu15 (2028-2032 AD) both of which are also in the root chakra. So for about the first half of Pluto's transit in Aquarius humanity will be dealing with primal forces and issues that need changing(Aquarius) if we are to survive.
