Why is Trump's 2nd House Empty?

If the 2nd house in astrology rules money and wealth, then why is Trump's 2nd astrological house empty? Shouldn't it be full and active? Even the ruler of his 2nd house, Mercury, falls in his 12th house (using whole sign houses) which is not a financial house. Nor does he have any main planets in the 10th or 6th.

Placidus works better with Jupiter and Neptune in Trump's 2nd and Sun and Uranus in the 10th, but I do not subscribe to this system of house division, if any at all. Trump does have earth sign material houses (2nd,6th,10th) but they are all empty. Only the MC or Midheaven in Taurus has any real financial weight.

Same for Elon Musk, who is supposedly the richest man in the world who has Cancer Rising. No important planets in the 2nd or 10th house (unless you include Chiron or Eris) and only one planet, Neptune, in the 6th. Elon's 2nd house ruler, the Sun, (using whole signs) falls in his 1st. Only Sedna in early Taurus seems to make sense.

All of this casts a lot of doubt on the validity of the astrological houses. Either we are not using them correctly or they shouldn't be used at all. If not, then only the aspects between or among the ten planets and two angles are of any import. The succeeding semi-sextile for any planet would take on the significance of the 2nd house. In Trump's case for example, all of his Cancer planets would become financial significators for his Gemini planets, Leo for Cancer, and so on.

In summary, empty or weak 2nd houses in the charts of very rich men like Trump put into question the validity of the astrological houses while at the same time reinforce the importance of the MC or Midheaven.
