The Fantastic Four superhero team created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee in 1961 went on to become one of the most successful American Marvel comic
series ever, spawning a film series as well.
It becomes evident to any astrologer that each of the four Fantastic characters is patterned after the four elements in astrology,
indicating the creators were well versed on this subject.
Mr Fantastic(Reed Richards), the leader and scientic genius of the group who is endowed with bodily stretching ability(stretching of the mind) is patterned
after the air element. The air element consists of the air signs which are Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.
The Invisible Woman(Susan Storm) can not only render herself invisible but is able to create protective force fields around herself and others. Her sensitive, feminine,
empathic, nurturing, perceiving, and protective nature is obviously patterned after the water element in astrology. The water signs are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.
The Human Torch/Johnny Storm is able to "flame on" and fly like a ball of fire and project heat, light, and fire as a weapon or defense. His volatile nature is obviously
patterned after the fire element in astrology. The fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
The Thing/Ben Grimm is the grumpy, crusty, bulky, matter-of-fact character with incredible physical strength and endurance who is unmistakably patterned after the earth signs
in astrology. The Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn.
Together, the Fantastic Four represent humanity's power potential. They make an uneasy but unbeatable group who when working together are a match for any super villain.
 The first comic book issue of the Fantastic Four is dated November of 1961. I could not find a specific day or time so the astrological data is obviously limited. Only the planets Saturn(in Capricorn), Neptune(in Scorpio), and Pluto(in Virgo) are certain. Sun can be in Scorpio or Sag. Mercury can be in Libra or Scorpio, Venus in Libra or Scorpio, Mars in Scorpio or Sag, Jupiter in Capricorn or Aquarius, and Uranus in Leo or Virgo.
