There is an important distinction in both astronomy and astrology between the major planets and the dwarf planets.
In astronomy, which is helio or sun-centered, there are 8 major planets in our solar systen; the four terrestial
- Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, and the four giants - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The Sun is a star,
the Moon(Luna) is a moon, and Ceres, Pluto, and the rest are either dwarf planets or asteroids. Dwarf planets are
large enough to be spherical or elipsoidal but are smaller than regular planets.
In astrology, which is geo or earth-centered, there are 10 major "planets" - Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter,
Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, with Eris waiting in line. The Earth is a plane rather than a planet and affects us
astrologically via the Ascendant or Rising Sign at the eastern horizon/ecliptic point at birth.
Before the modern era of the last few hundred years, astronomy and astrology were one, then came the Copernican and
scientific revolutions that split the two apart. It saddens me to say that the modern concept of our Earth and solar system
is a lie perpetrated to deceive and disconnect us from our source. The Earth is not a globe nor are the Sun and Moon
thousands or millions of miles away. They are much closer and smaller and the ancients always knew this. The outer planets
may be far more distant but they are still Earth-based(our Earth is a giant plane) and not "out there" in the far reaches
of black space. Our dome captures these bodies like a lens bringing them closer to us.
The Sun and Moon are focused light sources some 32 miles in diameter and not more than 62 miles above us(the so-called "Karman line")
which is the highest point of our dome. The other planets don't appear as large or bright because they are farther away, outside of
our first heaven or dome. They do however appear like luminaries to those directly underneath them on the other land rings
further out from us. There is a Mars land ring, a Jupiter land ring, and so on(see my Bhumandala articles).
Below is an ASTRONOMICAL depiction of the outer planets of our solar system, both major and minor, as we are accustomed to seeing them.
I must warn you however that the relative sizes and distances of the planets to one another may be mostly guesswork on the part of astronomers.
All we know with any kind of accuracy are the orbital periods of such bodies and their positions relative to the ecliptic. Also, the planets
as depicted, are artistic CGI(computer generated image) renderings of telescopic observations.

The seven traditional planets -Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, have been well known for thousands of years, since
they are large, bright, and close enough to be seen with the naked eye. Uranus and Neptune, which are farther out and require telescopic
aid to see, may have always been there, but theywere known only to the highest or priveleged castes. Pluto may have once been an inner planet
or moon, but was repositioned or flung out beyond Neptune at some point. Same with Eris and the other dwarf planets. In fact, all of the small
bodies in our solar system, including Mercury, Venus, our Moon, and Mars may have come from the "big four" (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune)
which began our system and which hold many more such bodies.
Mythologically, our history begins with the main planets furthest out and devolves inwards. Neptune is Poseidon or the Great Ocean from which all life sprang. Uranus is the Titans or humongously large and long-lived first races of humanity going back some 150,000 years. They were bisexual and had "tits" or paps to wean their young. From them came the smaller Luciferian giants who rebelled against the Titans and were expelled to their own land ring under Saturn some 100,000 years ago. Lucifer was the first male and led the Satans of Saturn. From the Satans came the Olympians who were expelled to the newly formed Jupiter land ring, pushing the other land rings further back. And so it went on with the other planets and land rings and continues to this day. Our Earth plane system grows as we grow, from the Meruvian center of the original Gods or Creators to the successive planetary land rings, each of which births a new root race. Below is a speculative schematic of our Bhumandala Super Earth plane and its various planetary land rings, each separated by an ocean ring. Our known Earth is within the Greater Earth of Jambudvipa, which is itself within the Super Earth called Bhumandala by the Vedics. Below is my own representation of our Great Level Plane or Universe and its divisions. Mount Meru(Mount Olympus in Greek mythology), the seat of the Gods, is at the center and rooted in Jambudvipa or the Greater Earth, which contains our own smaller Earth. Beyond Jambudvipa are larger land rings, one for every major body in our system. The land rings may actually be composed of loosely joined continents rather than being solid all the way round, and smaller rings(for the dwarfs or minor bodies) may also exist. I have started with the Moon because this is the fastest moving "planet" in our system. Mercury is the next fastest, and so on. This is also the order in which the ancients envisioned our cosmos. The only real way to tell a planet's order or distance is by the time it takes to make a complete orbit. Our dome, like a lens, brings in the light and energy of the planets and stars making it seem like everything is on a flat circular screen. Note: this planetary schematic is intuitive speculation on my part and may or may not be accurate. |

This takes care of the major bodies or deities. What about the dwarf planets? My own definition of a major planet is anything 1200 miles
in diameter or greater. This includes Pluto and Eris at roughly 1400+ miles each. All of the other "dwarfs" are way below 1200 miles. Here is a list
of the currently known NAMED and accepted dwarfs and their estimated sizes, orbital periods, and distances. Names are important in astrology adding to
the power or definition of a planet.
The above astronomical information is from Wikipedia and can be subject to change, especially on the size or diameters of the bodies, which can vary substantially according to source. The largest discrepancy is with Sedna. There are no doubt other sizable dwarfs or minor planets to be discovered as there are significant gaps. None on the list are in the 400 to 500 year range nor in the 600 to 10,000 year range. Bodies under 400 miles diameter are rarely spherical or planet-like and usually ignored. Below are descriptions of what the dwarfs mean. Close conjunctions or major aspects of these bodies to important points in your chart should be significant. Ceres, king of the asteroids, is the closest dwarf planet to us, situated between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter with a 4.6 year cycle. It has three other sizable companions, namely Juno, Pallas, and Vesta which are smaller and not quite spherical but important enough to be used by many astrologers. Then there are the millions of others 200 miles or less, the shattered debris of what may have once been a large planet. Ceres, discovered 1n 1801, was then thought to be a planet until many others like it were also discovered. In 2006 Ceres was reclassified as a dwarf planet because of its large size and spherical shape. In mythology, Ceres was the godess of agriculture or grain and food in general. In a astrology Ceres is known to have a nurturing or mothering quality much like the Moon. Chiron, although not a dwarf planet, has gained considerable importance in astrology, as it is the leader of a whole new class of minor objects called centaurs. Discovered in 1977, and only some 120 miles diameter, it's 51 year orbit hugs the orbits of both Saturn and Uranus, annd requires a telescope to be seen. Later, other centaurs such as Pholus, Nessus, Asbolus, Hylonome, Amycus, Bienor, and Chariklo(largest) were also discovered. The other hundreds and thousands of centaurs are much smaller and scattered througout our solar system. In mythology, Chiron is the half=horse half-man wounded creature who helped others with his wisdom and tools or inventions. In astrology, Chiron represents your gifts or knowledge to the world despite some debilitating condition. Orcus is very much like Pluto in orbit and nature but is smaller with one large moon(Vanth). While Pluto is the king of the underworld, Orcus is the underworld punisher of those who break their oaths and promises, and evldoers in general. This includes demons, demon-possessed, dictators, warlords, traffickers, murderers, rapists, drug and mafia lords, launderers, terorists, Nazis, etc. Ixion discovered in 2001, is another plutino(Pluto-like object) close to Pluto's orbit but much smaller. In mythology Ixion is the son of Ares(Mars), a lustful king and evildoer. Even before Zeus/Jupiter he was unrepentant snd lascivious and therefore cast into Hades(hell), forever tied to a flaming wheel. In astrology, Ixion represents your darkest nature and what needs to be changed or cleansed before you can be part of society again. Salacia, discovered in 2004, is a fairly large kuiper belt object with a moon called Actaea. In myth she is the godess of the sea and salt water in partnership(wife) with Neptune/Poseison. In astrology, Salacia is the concept of presevation(salt) as well as the loss of purity or virginity and raw sexuality. Varuna, discovered in 2000, is another Kuiper belt object, ellipsoid and with one small moon. In myth, Varuna is the Hindu god of the sky and clouds and waters, and oversees the world enforcing justice. Astrologically, Varuna is your ability to lead or influence others in just or lawful ways. Haumea, discovered in 2004, is a very large ellipsoid(football-shaped) dwarf planet beyond Pluto. It has a ring system and two small moons. In mythology, Haumea is the Hawaian godess of childhood and fertility. In astrology, Haumea is your ability to create and to start anew. Quaoar, discovered in 2002, is a large kuiper belt dwarf with a small moon(Weywot) an an almost perfectly circular orbit. In myth, Quaoar is the creation force of the universe singing and dancing gods into existence. In astrology, Quaoar is linked to the Indigo children who have special psychic gifts and abilities. It also has to do with creativity, genius, quirkiness, gayness, cloning, and abortion. Words beginning with qu(queen, queer, quantum, quack, etc) are highly relevant to Quaoar. Makemake, discovered in 2005, is one of the largest dwarf planets at two thirds the size of Pluto. It is reddish in color and has one moon(MK2). In myth, Makemake is the Easter Island deity responsible for the creation of humanity and the ability to reproduce or multiply. In astrology, Makemake is your connection to the environment as well as environmental activism. Varda, discovered in 2006, is Kiuper dwarf with a large moon called Ilmare. In myth, she was the beautiful Queen of Valar in Middle Earth responsible for the creation and/or positioning of the stars. In astrology, Varda represents where you will be given light, hope, or protection. Gonggong, discovered in 2007, is a large reddish scattered disk dwarf close to Eris, with a highly inclined and eccentric orbit. It has a moon called Xiangliu. Gonggong was named after the water dragon god of chaos, catastrophe, and flooding in Chinese mythology. Astrologically, Gonggong(formrly 2007 OR10) is the chaos and conflict in your life brought about by the abrupt changing of past ideas or values. Sedna, discovered in 2003, is the farthest known scattered disk(sednoid) dwarf. It is reddish in color with no known moon and its orbit is highly elongated or eccentric taking some 11,400 years to complete its orbit. In mythology, Sedna is the Inuit godess of the sea who helps hunters and fishers find food. Abandoned by her father and left to drown, Sedna transcends death and tranforms into a new and more powerful being. In astrology, Sedna is where we painfully overcome the subconcious ties to this world and become our own power. Dwarf planets are the "wanna be" planets of our system, just like the demi-gods who aspire to become full or immortal gods. They represent the heroes of the past and are enshrined forever(or a very long time) in the heavens. Just as humans can be promoted or gods be demoted, so can planets be as well. Size does indeed matter, from the Titans of old to the Giants, to the lowly humans of today, and so it is with the heavenly bodies. The asteroids must represent the lowest life forms in the cosmos. As above, so below. This is only an initial attempt to pieces together the puzzle of our cosmos. I am sure others will be able to fill in what is missing. Attempting to unify history, science, geography, astronomy, astrology, mythology, etc is a very tall order, but I am driven to at least try to understand it all. The Bhumandala scheme of the Vedics is a great help in this as it provides the general basis or framework. Martin Kenny and and all of yhe other flat/level Earthers were also helpful.
