Angel or Devil in Astrology

Since astrology is a universal or empirical system of knowledge encompassing all realities, both good and bad, it can also help us understand the principles of angel and devil which are the two extremes of human expression.

In general, the feminine signs of earth and water represent the negative or lower expressions in astrology while the masculine or fire and air signs represent the higher or more positive expressions.

The fire signs of Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius represent spirit or life force while the air signs of Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius represent the mind or idealism. The Earth signs of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn represent matter and substance while the water signs of Cancer, and Scorpio, and Pisces represent soul, feeling, and emotion.

In my long observation of the sign qualities in astrology, I have noticed that four signs in particular exemplify the ideas of angel or devil, god or demon, or Satan or Christ, etc. although this may be subject to personal bias. People with many planets in both Libra and Sagittarius appear to most strongly epitomize the angelic while those with many planets in both Scorpio and Capricorn appear to most strongly epitomize the dark side.

It is of course possible to have all four signs tenanted expressing both angel or devil or have no planets there in which case the other signs will have to be studied. For example, Taurus can be just as negative as Capricorn and Aquarius as positive as Sagittarius, etc.

Libra is a associated with beauty and justice while Sagittarius is associated with morals and spirituality. Both signs, when well placed or tenanted, give the native very admirable and ethical qualities or the stamp of "goodness". Scorpio is associated with death and destruction or regeneration while Capricorn is associated with control and worldliness. Both signs, when badly placed or tenanted feature very negative traits in people. The level of maturity or spiritual development of the individual will of course mitigate the level of good or bad.

I must clarify what I mean by good or bad placements. Masculine planets -Sun, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, and Ascendant, work well in the masculine signs(fire or air) but not so well in the feminine signs(earth or water). Likewise, feminine planets -Moon, Venus, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, and MC work best in the feminine signs(earth or water) but not so well in the masculine signs(fire or air). The Sun in Aries, for example, will be more positive or harmonious than the Moon or Saturn there. Likewise, the Moon in Taurus is much more stable than Mercury or Mars there.

Both the positive and negative expressions of beings have a right to exist in this free will creation as they balance or support each other. The fallen angels or spirits whom we call demons, devils, or reptilians will always be here to challenge and exercise the pure or regenerated humans, angels, or gods, and this script is beautifully summarized in the signs and planets of astrology

So long as free will exists we will never have a perfect society. There will always be misfits, black sheep, or errants, who upset the ideal. The deep state or dark force can be stifled or repressed but it will always lurk in the background ready to pounce. While universal or collective utopia is practically impossible, we can strive or succeed individually to achieve perfection or at least balance.
